Spring Sale ~~ 3/19: 7:10-9:30pm in the multipurpose room

  Please donate your books and media to the AACCOM!

  Purposes:

1. To add the books and media to our Chinese reading programs.
2. To exchange used books for children and adults.
3. To donate used English children books to schools in rural Taiwan.
4. To provide children more selection of books to enjoy .

 

What we need:

1. Chinese children books and media: for the reading program.
2. English children books: to sell as used books or be donated to schools in Taiwan.
3. Adults English or Chinese books: to sell as used books
4. DVD, CD: to sell as used items.
5. Musical scores: to sell as used items.

Please no manuals, old encyclopedias, newspaper, or old magazines.

 

How it will work:

1.  Teachers will go through the books, media and select those suitable for our reading program.

2.  The remaining items will be available for purchase. Proceeds will be used to acquire additional new books for the reading program.

 

What if items were not sold or selected:

Our library cabinet has limited spaces for additional items. Most of these items will be recycled or be returned to owners.

 

Event schedule:

3/5: 7-9pm, drop items in the teacher's lounge .

3/12: 7-8pm, drop items in the teacher's lounge .

3/19: 7:10-9:30pm Spring Sale in the multipurpose room

Volunteers needed(email to arboryang@yahoo.com) for

• sort the books 
• transport the books and media from the teacher's lounge to the multipurpose room
• sell the books on the Spring Sale Day
